Although Haute Couture has always been at home in France, the story of Worth Paris began with the Englishman Charles Frederick Worth. In 1845, the young man went to Paris with the desire to create women’s fashion.
He founded „The House of Worth“.
In just 10 years, he became a successful fashion designer. He was a smart businessman and visionary, who pioneered technological innovations for sewing and embroidery machines. He was the first to use female models to present his new collections.

His sons Jean-Philippe and Gaston Worth continued the family business and developed the brand „Les Parfums Worth“. In 1924, their first women’s fragrance „Dans la Nuit“ emerged; in 1932 „Je Reviens“ was introduced – a truly timeless classic that has outlasted every trend and passing fad.
